Over the next year, Flamingo Road between Koval Lane and the I-15 will be undergoing construction to bury overhead power lines underground. During construction, this website will be the main source of information on the latest lane closures, construction progress and other important updates related to this project.

Beginning February 17, 2009, construction activities will take place from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Sunday evenings through Friday mornings. Lane closures and traffic delays on Flamingo Road should be expected during these time periods. Delays and lane restrictions may also take place during the daytime throughout the construction as well. Drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this process, and we apologize for any inconvenience this construction may cause you. We are working to provide as much information as possible to the public during this process to help you avoid delays and traffic congestion.   • From Sunday, March 7 through Friday, March 12, there will be no daytime road construction.
  • Overnight construction will continue on the north side of Flamingo Road in westbound traffic lanes from Koval Lane toward the I-15 from  Sunday night, March 7 through Friday morning, March12.
  • Construction hours are from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Sunday night through Thursday morning.
  • Construction crews will also be working overnight in north bound lanes on Las Vegas Blvd near the Flamingo Road Intersection, and in north- and south-bound lanes along Koval Lane.
  • During construction hours, both east- and west-bound traffic lanes on Flamingo Road and north-bound lanes on Las Vegas Blvd. will be reduced.
  • Drivers should expect increased traffic congestion and plan their travel accordingly.
  • There will be no construction or lane reductions on Flamingo Road on Fridays (after 6:00 a.m.) or Saturdays.
  • All entrances to hotels and other properties along Flamingo Road will be open and unaffected during this phase of construction.

Please be advised there will be increased traffic congestion and slow drive times on Flamingo Road during construction, and plan your travel accordingly. Thank you.
